About Miriam’s Role in Eternity

Miriam is working on the “Application of system thinking and system safety to EMI risk assessment of medical applications”. Her project focuses on the characterization of the EMI-related risks, stemming from the operating electromagnetic environment and the susceptibility of the specific medical system. Her ultimate objectives are the application of the hazard-and-risk-analysis method STPA (System-Theoretic Process Analysis) to the EMI risk analysis of integrated medical imaging systems (MRI and X-ray) and wearable body sensors.
