Prashanth Goud Domakonda – ESR 2
Prashanth Goud Domakonda holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of L’Aquila in Italy and completed an Erasmus program at ENSEA (Grande Ecole, France) in the telecommunication department. He also possesses a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTUH in India. As one of the selected candidates from Europe, Asia, and Africa, Prashanth attended Cisco’s prestigious educational program, Cisco Engineer Incubator 9.0, where he received training in routing, switching, scaling, cybersecurity, and multi-edge computing, imparted by the top Cisco engineers and experts.
Prashanth has extensive experience in designing and simulating wireless network systems, including 3GPP LTE, MIMO, OFDM, scheduling, power control, and channel adaptation. He also holds a certification as a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Enterprise Networking Security and Automation Engineer and has a profound knowledge of statistical methods, probability theory, game theory, and information theory. During his career, he has worked as a Research Engineer at the University of Paris-Saclay and as a Process Executive at Nvidia Graphic Designs India.
About Prashanth Goud’s Role in Eternity
As ESR2 on the Eternity project, he is focusing on characterizing EMI in scenarios where new digital communication systems (DCS), including IoT, are being deployed together with medical devices. His research centres on evaluating the Figure of Merit (FoM) for DCS in the time domain, based on statistical metric figures that link a DCS to its reconfigurable environment. During the secondments, Prashanth plans to measure the “Figure of Merit for
DCS” using novel time-domain EMI measurements in two types of medical settings: imaging systems (PHC) and transportation with driver-monitoring systems (FIC).
